Mobilizing 5 billion VND to support Agent Orange victims in the province

​As reported, the provincial Association of Victims of A.O/Dioxin has 12,412 members, including 3,032 direct A.O. victims.

In 2019, the Association has mobilized 5 billion VND funded by agencies and businesses in and out the province. The association has supported 8,000 gifts to A.O victims; newly-built and repaired 14 compassion houses, awarded 36 scholarships to children of A.O. families, organized medical examinations and provided free medicine to A.O families and donated buffaloes and cows to A.O. members.

In 2020, the Association will continue to mobilize agencies and businesses to raise funds in order to help victims and create conditions for victims' families; at the same time, innovate methods of organizing rehabilitation at the Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation of A.O victims in Nghia Thang and the Rehabilitation Center of Duc Pho district.
